Why we ask for your support
Founded in 1906, the Clymer Library
and our community have grown together.
Starting with an inventory of 2,000 books, it served 750
residents and hundreds of summer guests. Today the Library serves
over 14,000 residents of Tobyhanna and
Tunkhannock Townships, plus an estimated 11,000 seasonal
residents. With this exceptional growth, significant demand
continues for the Library to have sufficient funds to serve as Your
Community Resource Center.
The generous financial support and sponsorship of our community - our patrons, local businesses, community organizations, library volunteers and all the friends of Clymer Library - has contributed to our ability to grow and expand our services. With your donation, the Clymer Library can keep pace with the growth of our community.
Purpose of the Paver Donor
Campaign
The paver campaign provides needed operating funds to continue providing current and adding new services for our growing patron community. Thus far we have used these funds to expand our popular Children's Programs, provide more Large Print and Audio books for our Savvy Seniors and add popular new books and DVD's for the enjoyment of all patrons.
