This project is important in that it will have a lasting impact on our community. The Northern New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery is a new, all- volunteer veterans cemetery. In fact, it is the only one in North Jersey. Adult and youth volunteers, along with corporate sponsors have done a massive amount of work already at the cemetery. Our flagpole gathering site is completed and we are now making plans for a much-needed building. Site development for this 66 acre location will continue for many years.
The Flagpole and new building will be the centerpiece of the cemetery! A place where families and friends will gather to remember, pray and connect with loved ones. It is our hope that with everyone’s help, we will create a beautiful and permanent gathering site.
