The 1971-1972 school year began with a group of Davidson parents coming together to form The Children's Schoolhouse. Those visionary parents had no idea that the foundation they laid during those first years would be educating children and families in a co-op community for 45 years!
In 2017, the Children’s Schoolhouse celebrated our 45th anniversary and the 2016-17 Schoolhouse Community started a fundraising campaign by selling engraved bricks to raise money to make our courtyard more beautiful and user friendly. Now we have an opportunity for our current families to also purchase bricks and leave a permanent mark of your presence in this community!!!
