On behalf of the students and faculty of the 6th-12th
grade Walnut Community School District, we would like to present you with the opportunity
to purchase a commemorative brick that will pave the foundation for a warrior statue.
The statue will be a tribute to the distinct Warrior mascot and the
generations of “Warriors” who have graced these hallowed halls. The statue will also
symbolize the end of one era and the beginning of another.
The statue, itself, will be made of
bronze. At the base of the statue we will be installing laser etched bricks which students,
faculty, and alumni are able to purchase with names and year of graduation or service to the
school imprinted into the brick.
The purchasing of the bricks will also help to cover the
cost of the statue.
