Cookie Season is upon us once again. We all love these round little cookies sold by the Girl Scouts. The Girl Scouts of America have been raising funds with their delicious treat since 1917. What many people do not realize is that the Girl Scouts conduct many different types of fundraisers throughout the year. They also help their local communities and many girl scouts even give back on a global level.

Polar Engraving has worked with both the Girl Scouts of America the Boy Scouts of America Councils across the country on brick fundraising campaigns. These engraved brick projects are sometimes held in conjunction with local churches, Community Centers, and Veteran’s organizations.

Earning Your Eagle Scout & Girl Scout Gold Award

The highest scouting achievement for the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are earning either Eagle Scout status or receiving the Gold Award. Both require identifying a problem in the community and solving the issue which may require funding. Fundraising using an engraved brick or tile project is a smart way to raise money without having to spend much or any money upfront. All the donations are collected before a single brick is purchased.
