Cibola General Hospital was established in 1959 to provide Grants and
the surrounding communities with the exceptional healthcare services that
promote community wellness and improve quality of life. The hospital has been
successful on both counts, offering patients and their families from throughout
northwestern New Mexico the finest possible combination of compassionate care and
local convenience to our community for both inpatients and outpatients.
Today, the 25-bed critical access hospital is located in a modern,
50,000-square-foot setting and staffed by a dedicated healing team well-versed
in the latest and best medical procedures. General surgery, obstetrics and
gynecology, pediatrics, family practice, and 24-hour emergency care, intensive
care nursing, internal medicine, pathology, pediatric dentistry, podiatry,
telemedicine, and hospice services are among the many services offered on-site.
As CGH approaches our 60th birthday, we wish to celebrate those who came before with a memory garden at the outpatient services entrance. Please join us in commemorating past employees, doctors, board members and volunteers by buying a memorial paver for a friend, family member or loved one who used to work here and has passed. Please include name, department, years of service and birth and death years.
