Continental School Celebration Plaza & Annual Washington D.C. Trip Fundraiser!
Celebrate Continental School’s over 100 years of school spirit by buying a personalized engraved brick for our “Celebration Plaza” and help support our annual Washington D.C. trip benefiting our graduating 8th graders!
Who Can Participate? All the Community!
8th Grade Graduating Class—First and foremost, we want every student in our current 8th grade graduating class to leave their mark as a Continental Colt with their name on a brick, the year of their graduation, and a clip art of their choice.
All Continental School Alumni—We really want all Continental School students from the last 100 years to add their names to our plaza along with the year of their graduation. So, spread the word and let them know!
Teachers, Staff, & Family Members—Our Celebration Plaza would not be complete without our teachers and staff, including all former alumni. We also want all our family members, wherever they may be and who want to be part of our school spirit, to join in the celebration.
Friends
of Green Valley/Sahuarita & Local Businesses—We would love all
friends and businesses of our Green Valley/Sahuarita community, whose support
makes our school such a success, to be part of our plaza!

Frequently Asked Questions
How
Do We Get the Bricks?—All bricks will be delivered directly to the school and placed
into the plaza by members of our Continental community
Where do the Donation Profits Go?—All profits from the
sale of the bricks will go directly to our school’s civics club as part of our
annual fundraising efforts to send our 8th graders to the nation’s capital,
Washington D.C.
Where Can I see My Engraved Brick?—Depending on the delivery date we are hoping to have all the newest bricks laid in the Celebration Plaza by the end of the school year so that all the 8th graders can graduate with their new bricks in place. A Parent-Square notification, along with an announcement via social media will be sent out once bricks are laid.
Over
20 Years Going to Washington D.C.—Our 8th graders have been going to D.C. for more
than 20 years, and hope to go for many more. For many of our students,
this is a trip with hard work by raising
money in numerous student fundraisers throughout the school year. With
your extra support, we can help them achieve this amazing goal.
Please share in the enduring spirit of our wonderful local school. Become part of its living legacy and find, on the bricks of our Celebration Plaza, the names of every student, teacher, family, friend, community member, and business that you know.
*This 100 year Celebration Plaza and D.C. fundraiser started as the Eagle Scout Project of scout Cutter Papritz, of Troop #301, Green Valley/ Sahuarita. Cutter was part of the 2020 graduating class and is now an official Continental School alumni.*
