For many years, the Blossom Farm Cemetery,
served as the final resting place for residents in the area of what is now
the Wilson View Farm, Route 22, Comstock, NY. The cemetery was active from the
late 1700s to the mid-1800s.
The Friends of Blossom Farm Cemetery, LLC formed in 2013-2014 to bring
about the rebirth of this historic cemetery, declared extinct since the 1970s.
The first stages of the restoration process include
fencing, probing and restoration of headstones. Final stages will be the
setting of a flagpole and creation of a commemorative brick landscape base.
Donors to the Blossom Farm Cemetery Project will receive
commemorative bricks for contributions of $50.00 (4"x8"), $75.00
(8"x8"), and $125.00 (12"x12" business/corporate).
You will be able to personalize and design your brick. A
wide selection of graphics is available if you choose to make your brick even
more special.
