The Gatesville Chamber of Commerce mission is to develop and maintain a Veterans Memorial Park at Freedom Park in honor of all past and present Veterans of the Armed Forces of the United States of America; to be a place for Veterans, their families and the public to remember, reflect and contemplate the sacrifices of these individuals; and to serve as an educational venue.
DUTY, HONOR and COUNTRY are words that proudly describe the men and women who have served our country as veterans for the United States. If one looks into their family and theirs friends they will undoubtedly find a father, a mother, an uncle, aunt, niece, nephew or friend who served their country to protect our liberty and freedom. They may sadly find some veteran who Lincoln once described “as giving their full measure". It is time we honor those who gave us our safety and freedom. Please join us by purchasing an engraved brick that will be prominently displayed at Freedom Park in Gatesville Texas.
