"Thunder Road" A path of tradition and an everlasting footprint in Hills East.
In 2014 when Mike Maratto took over the football program, his first order of business was to create tradition in a school everyone should be proud of, "I was raised to always feel a sense of pride in your school and program. We created a Lightning Bolt Monument that will forever stand as a symbol, not just for athletes, but for all who would at some point call themselves Thunderbirds."
It is now time to expand this tradition. We will build a brick walkway and name it "Thunder Road". It will start at the Monument and extend down to the stadium. In addition, you will be able to buy a brick and have it engraved so you can forever be a part of the Thunderbird family. There is nothing better than years from now, coming back and seeing your name or mark still there. To be able to show your kids and grand-kids what you will always be a part of.
Show your Hills East Pride by leaving an everlasting symbol and personal mark on Thunder Road.
