Hope of Mooresville Brick Fundraising Project 2016

Hope of Mooresville (HOMe) is a 501(c)3 founded in 2014 when a small group of concerned citizens began to question where do the homeless go in the winter? After much research HOMe concluded that there was a need for temporary housing and services for the displaced. In fact, the number of homeless students in the MGSD school system rose from 64 to 83 in 2014-2015.

After two years of work by a dedicated group of volunteers, we have an exciting update on our progress. HOMe has purchased a house that will serve homeless women and children. It is located on N. Broad Street and is in need of remodeling and an addition to make the home functional and operational. To raise additional funds for our project, HOMe is having a brick fundraiser. Engraved bricks will be sold and used to create a walkway to the front door of the house.

We feel that Mooresville’s homeless is a community problem that deserve a community solution. Please help us with our mission by supporting us with an engraved brick.
