The Jefferson
County
Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fundraiser
Please join us in supporting the Vietnam Veterans of
Jefferson County. We are raising money for the Jefferson County Vietnam Veterans
Memorial and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or
$500. Every little bit helps.
The Memorial will be placed on the Jefferson County courthouse
lawn and consist of a Lifesize Bronze Statue of a soldier in combat gear. The statue
will sit on a raised granite base which will include a bronze plaque to read
“Dedicated to all the Brave Men and Women of Jefferson County who have Served
our Country, All Gave Some, Some Gave All”.
The surrounding area will have benches for visitors to relax
and take a moment to reflect. The goal
of this memorial is to not only honor the brave men and women who have served
our country so well, but also to be a place of healing and contemplation.
Engraved bricks can
be ordered to honor those who have served our country and will be a lasting
tribute and memorial to the men and women whose names are represented on the
bricks.
The statue will be in the likeness of Captain Dale Crafton
who is the most decorated Jefferson County Vietnam Veteran.
