Korean Church of Westchester
Solar Project
The Korean Church of
Westchester was established in Sleepy Hollow in 1977 to as a place of worship
for the community and to spread the gospel of salvation to all nations and make
them disciples of Jesus Christ, the Lord.
Our church building was
established in Sleepy Hollow as Reformed Church of North Tarrytown with over
100 years of history located in the suburbs of Westchester County, close to New
York City, the heart of the world.
The Korean Church was
established in 1977, it has been used as a cornerstone church for the
evangelization of New York and Westchester through many tearful prayers and
unwavering loyalty.
The Senior Pastor, his
wife, and the leadership team will do their best for the revival of this
glorious church. In particular, we will do our best to take care of the
believers and the local community, and further pursue world missions, which is
our ultimate goal.
As you join in this
great mission, the Holy Spirit will surely allow you to see the amazing work of
God that we have never imagined. Would you like to join us in this amazing
ministry?
To help this calling,
we will be installing solar panels on the roofs of the Church. Our Church will be part of the first movers
to help stop climate change and reduce costs to run the Church. The solar panels system is a 38kW system and
the panels are expected to generate 100% of all the electricity used by the
Church throughout a year.
This project will
reduce the cost of utility bills for our future generations of members, and to
allow more allocation of funds towards further ministry works.
The purpose selling
these engraved brick tiles is to raise donations to pay for the solar panels.
Every brick purchased will be placed inside the Church foyer wall.
We have enlisted the
help of New York Power Solutions to help us achieve this goal.
