Leadership Eagle Pass

"The primary mission of The Leadership Eagle Pass is to educate Eagle Pass residents who aspire to be leaders or to be more effective in leadership roles they already enjoy. 

In keeping with this mission, the Leadership Class of 2012 feels there is an opportunity to beautify and leave a lasting legacy in this South Texas community by erecting a monument of an eagle. The eagle has always been the symbol for Eagle Pass, Texas. The founders of the community decided a long time ago that this powerful, graceful, and dignified bird would forever be engraved in our written and oral history, as well as in our minds.  

The monument will be erected at the entrance to the Maverick County Lake. The hope is that this project will be completed in the next year to year and a half. The county lake is an area where most visitors and families can enjoy viewing this monument. More importantly, we feel your contribution will not only beautify our community but also leave a lasting legacy with our citizens and future leaders. "
