The playground at Liberty Elementary School was installed in 1993. It has been a wonderful addition to the neighborhood as well as to the school. Children from our school and the Shadyside community have enjoyed the inviting space before, after and during school hours, as well as on the weekends and during the summer. Although our playground has weathered well, many of the rubberized tiles are worn or covered in dirt that has eroded over the years, and they are ready to be replaced.
This brick fundraiser will get us closer to our $50,000 goal to install a new playground surface. The bricks may be engraved with family names and will be installed alongside our playground near the flagpole. The bricks will provide a lasting memory for children, families and neighbors of Liberty!
4" x 8" engraved bricks may be purchased for $150 each and 4" x 4" keepsake replica tiles may be purchased for $25 each.
