DUTY, HONOR and COUNTRY are words that proudly describe the men and women who have served our country as veterans for the United States.

The board of directors for the VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK of ARCHULETA COUNTY have received 6.9 acres of land and are initiating their fund raising efforts to build a park for the community to honor all veterans.

If one looks into their family and theirs friends they will undoubtedly find a father, a mother, an uncle, aunt, niece, nephew or friend who served their country to protect our liberty and freedom.  They may sadly find some veteran who Lincoln once described “as giving their full measure".  It is time we honor those who gave us our safety and freedom.  Please join us by purchasing an engraved brick that will become a permanent "honor walkway" to the memorial that will encompass the gratitude Pagosa Springs, Colorado.

Thanks for your support
