Robinson Ranch has happily served disabled and able-bodied
riders in the Valley of the Sun for over 10 years.** The Ranch mission statement is
“To provide comprehensive educational programs for under-privileged, disabled & able-bodied
children and adults, utilizing horses to facilitate growth, learning and healing. Pursuing this
mission enriches the lives of our students in a caring, safe, and challenging environment that
will enable them to reach their full potential.”
Recent improvements include a large shade structure for people and horses
as well as an ADA ramp. There are still plenty of improvements that need to be made.
Specifically, the Ranch needs to have its uneven ground paved so that the wheelchairs and other
assistive equipment can move freely and safely around the Ranch. There is A LOT of square
feet to cover with pavers!
We are
literally asking that you help build the paved areas with
a commitment to purchase pavers.
You can purchase pavers to cover 1 square foot or 100 square feet.
All donations for pavers will be greatly
appreciated!
The paved patio under the new shade structure is top priority and will be named
after Robinson Ranch’s long-time mascot Porkchop the Pig. After living a long,
happy life at the Ranch, Porkchop passed away a few weeks ago. He was a 150-pound pot belly
pig and freely roamed the Ranch bringing surprised smiles to the faces of those seeing him for the
first time. He provided many fond memories for all who regularly visit the
Ranch.
In consideration for a minimum purchase of pavers, an
engraved brick paver will be installed in your honor. The engraved message is personal
to you; whether it be names, a memorial, a quote or phrase or even a drawing. Clip art
or original art can be added for a small additional fee. Replica tiles (a copy of the
bricks message on a 4 X 4 tile) to display at home are also available for
purchase.
