Since 1933 the Polish American String Band (PASB) has been a vital part of the Mummers Parade. We are very proud of our commitment to entertaining the public as well as our reputation of being good neighbors and citizens representing the Mummers, the City, Port Richmond and the Polish community.

For the first seventy-six years of our existence we rented our meeting and rehearsal space, whether it be the Polish American Association Club, the Polish Eagles Sports Club or the Columbia Club.  Our dream has always been to own and operate our own clubhouse with a commitment and pledge to proudly represent the Polish and Port Richmond community.

In 2009 part of that dream was realized as we purchased an eyesore property at Westmoreland and Salmon Streets in Port Richmond.  Utilizing our own member’s labor, we renovated and transformed the outside structure to blend in with the neat row homed neighborhood. We’ve opened our doors to the community to use for civic meetings as well as our neighbors utilizing our facility for baby and wedding showers, birthday and graduation parties and other family functions at a very reasonable fee in comparison to other local venues.

We are now in the final stages of our internal renovations to the club and we are asking you to be part of our everlasting foundation with your tax deductible support for the Polish American String Band through our commemorative tile project.
