With honor and pride, Pack 3228 proudly introduces our:
“Raise The Flag Campaign”
The Scouts BSA organizations chartered through Bostwick Lake UCC have proudly raised the
Flag through this brick donor system. A flagpole and landscaping have been installed and the
community support was nothing short of fantastic.
Now that the installation is complete, we
would like to offer the opportunity to continue selling bricks that will be set in the landscaping
around the flagpole, with proceeds going to the “Nathan Lixey Memorial Fund”. Nathan was
the father of a Scout in Pack 3228, who tragically passed away in 2018. In remembrance of him,
Troop 228, Troop 8228, and Pack 3228 have established a fund that will offset the costs for a
scout that has experienced a significant life-altering event during their tenure with one of the
Scouts BSA organizations noted above.
Our goal is to raise money to pay Scouting-related costs
and fees of a Qualifying Scout, including, but not limited to, registration fees, dues, event
registration fees (e.g., campouts, summer camp, high-adventure treks), transportation costs,
uniforms, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, tents, clothing, gear, supplies, materials, and other
goods and services that will further or enhance the Qualifying Scout's participation in
Scouting. Thank you for considering donating to this cause and thank you for all you do for
