The
renovation of our beloved Kappa Delta chapter house at 805 NE Ruby St. at
WSU is well underway, and we are on track to reopen in August 2024 with a
beautifully renovated house - just in time for Fall recruitment and for
our newest members to run home to on bid day!
One
of the major outdoor components of this remodel is fixing the
walkway/entry of the house and adding a patio area off the dining room. We will
have French doors off the dining room that will allow women to step out onto
the patio in the front yard and our hope is that this space will be utilized
for outdoor dining during warm fall/spring days, during recruitment as a
way to incorporate more space, and sisterhoods throughout the year.
Now
is your opportunity to be a permanent part of the house renovation by
purchasing an engraved brick for the patio! Funds raised from brick sales will
go directly towards the cost of the construction of the entry and patio and
will be an integral part of making this remodel happen. The bricks will be the
base of the front door and patio itself and whenever you come back to WSU
for a visit you will be able to see your lasting contribution to this
project.

Ideas.... name, pledge class year (PC 1972), favorite saying, in memory of, in
honor of, your nickname, years you were there (1996-2000). Make your brick your
own - we can't wait to see all the fun ideas!
Due to the size of the front entry and patio, we only have 150 bricks available for sale - once these are gone, that's it -so don't wait!!
