Track Project
Phase One of Warrior Walkway Completed! There’s still has plenty of room to grow!
On Halloween day 2015, girls from six Waverly-area troops including kindergarten and first grade Daisies, second and third grade Brownies, fifth and sixth grade Juniors, and middle school Cadettes dug in to put the first stage of the Warrior Walkway in place. Troop leaders and members from Boy Scout Troop 111 and Cub Scout Pack 386, which both meet at Elmwood Elementary School, also lent their helping hands and tools.
The placement of the bricks showcases the school’s buddy bench. Students who need a playmate take a seat and get picked up by other buddies. The brick project initially raised funds for Elmwood’s .10 mile track. It was installed the summer of 2014.
Funds from any new brick purchases will be put toward a 3D printer for Elmwood Elementary. We invite you to leave your legacy or honor a loved one in this special way. Thank you for your support!
