The History...
American Theatre Company returns to the future with the establishment of
a multipurpose facility in the East Village in Downtown Tulsa.
308 So. Lansing,
between 3rd and 4th Streets, in the East Village will become the new home for the
American Theatre Company.
When complete, this new venue will include ATC offices, rehearsal studio,
conservatory/school and a cabaret theatre. The offices will include a mix of business
and management.
The rehearsal studio will be a space that will allow ATC to not only hold
auditions but to rehearse in a space large enough to accommodate productions staged in
Tulsa’s larger venues.
The jewel in the crown of this new facility will be the return of
American Theatre Company’s Cabaret Theatre.
In 1979 ATC began producing shows in their “second stage” at the Brook
Theatre, which they had converted into a legitimate theater. The Brook and ATC are
credited with, if not starting, at least greatly helping the star t of the revitalization
of Brookside.
The Future...
Now you can help pave a path in the future of American Theatre Co.
We invite you to honor friends and family, to remember loved ones, or commemorate special
occasions by purchasing tribute bricks to be in the walkway and landscaped area in front
of ATC’s new home.
The laser engraved bricks are guaranteed for life, with
permanent paint that never wears away.
Best of all, your brick purchase will
help the new ATC home renovations, which in turn helps American Theatre Company
continue its mission.
