Make
yourself a permanent part of the Barre Common Project with engraved bricks. You can engrave a brick
with your own name or purchase one “In Memory of”, “In Honor of”, or “In Celebration of” a
loved one or a special event. A brick can be engraved with the name of your business. There’s
no limit on the number of bricks you can purchase.
The
Barre Common Project is nearing completion and the Barre Library Association invites you to be
part of it by adding your personalized paver to the walkway at the street entrance to the
Woods Memorial Library. Purchasing an engraved brick not only provides needed funds for the
building; it is a permanent tribute to all, past and present, who have treasured our beautiful
library.
Membership in the Barre Library Association is open to the
public. The BLA is soliciting new members and would like to offer, to those who purchase a
paver, a $5 discount on the first year’s membership. Please consider joining us as we grow
into the 21st century.
Your tax-deductible
contribution will pave the way for the BLA to continue providing access to library services, as
your local resource center for books, movies, music, free Wi-Fi, children’s and adult programs,
and meeting space or just a pleasant place to read and study.
Bricks will be available for sale from March 1, 2016 till May 21, 2016. 4x8” bricks
are $50 each; 8x8” bricks are $150 each. You may also purchase a keepsake replica tile for $15.
If you prefer paper forms, they are available at the Woods Memorial Library at the circulation
desk. CLICK HERE FOR THE BARRE LIBRARY ASSOCIATION WEBSITE
