The mission of the Barrett-Peake Heritage
Foundation, Inc., is to restore and preserve historic African American sites in
Hampton. The Foundation preserves Civil War era cemeteries such as
Elmerton, Bassette and Thornton. It is creating a Memorial Trail at the former
site of the VA School for the Deaf, Blind and Multi-disabled. The Brick
Memorial Fundraiser will pave the front of the 100-year old state headquarters
of the VA Federation of Colored Women's Clubs, conserving and beautifying the space
at 123 E. Pembroke Avenue, Hampton, Virginia. The Foundation is conserving the
property for a first-floor museum, with upstairs educational and community
rooms. Your participation in the Brick Memorial Fundraiser memorializes
your name or the name of a loved one in what will become a memorial brick
walkway.

We offer the bricks at $250 for prominently based bricks to $100 for bricks that will form the parameter of the space.
