The Beaver County Humane Society (BCHS) is creating a brick patio in the front of the shelter to honor or memorialize your most cherished friends, both animal and human. When you donate a personalized brick, you honor that special relationship while providing assistance to the homeless animals of our community.
You can choose from three different brick sizes and can have a brick engraved with a special message. Art work is available to be engraved on the brick if you choose to include it. Replica tiles also are available for you to purchase and display at home or work.
BCHS is a managed, limited-admission animal shelter whose mission is to protect all domestic animals and promote the concepts of kindness and respect for all living creatures throughout the northwestern Pennsylvania region.
Since its founding in 1950, the BCHS has grown to meet the needs of the community and now provides comfort and care to more than 4,000 homeless animals each year. BCHS is the only shelter that serves Beaver County and the contiguous parts of
the surrounding counties. The shelter is a place where people turn to for medical services for stray animals, behavioral
or training information, finding a lost pet or reporting an abuse situation. BCHS offers pet adoptions, a Trap-Neuter-Return
program for community cats, a pet food pantry program, rabies vaccination and microchip clinics, a pet boutique, community education programs and other animal services.
BCHS depends entirely on philanthropic support to care for the animals and run its programs. The shelter receives no financial operating support from donations made to any regional or national animal welfare organizations and is not directly funded through local, state or federal tax dollars.
