Boy Scout Troop 25

I am Dylan Covell, a Life Scout of Troop 25 working on my Eagle project. As you know, the Eagle is scouting's highest honor and requires the scout to lead a service project.

The Buildings and Grounds committee of Trinity United Methodist Church has given me the opportunity to make a memorial fire pit with a patio on church grounds. This fire pit patio will be dedicated to those who served our country both living and deceased. This fire pit will be used for proper flag retirement ceremonies and other public events. The fire pit will have a removable cap and feature a flag ash vault as well as flag pole stands for other events.  

I will be selling commemorative engraved bricks to be used in the gathering space and the money raised will go towards funding the project as well as to pay for the bricks. Suggestions to fill out the brick with text include: the service members name, unit/battalion/division, and years served. Optional clip art is available as well.
