Our project aims to honor the
rich baseball heritage of South Omaha while celebrating the legacy of Ryan High
School and Buena Vista. By creating a monument at the entrance of our baseball
facility, we will connect the past with the present, paying tribute to the
players, coaches, and community members who have contributed to the sport’s
history in our area. The monument will be built using engraved bricks, allowing
supporters to leave a lasting mark while helping fund the project. This
initiative is not just about preserving history - it’s about inspiring future
generations of athletes and fostering a sense of pride in our school and
community.
