ABOUT OUR PROJECT

Over the years, Cain Memorial A.M.E. Church has been a beacon in the Bakersfield, California, spiritual, economic, and social communities.  Currently, plans are underway to extend the ministries of the church through a building expansion. This additional space will allow church ministries to grow by enhancing educational and outreach programs that include seniors, the community homeless population and those that suffer from food insecurity.  To this end, the Capital Fundraising Campaign was launched and is pursuing the debt-free building of a beautiful multi-purpose facility. To assist us in reaching our goal, we are pleased to announce the “Engraved Brick Project” as part of the overall campaign.
