We are
turning 70!
In 1953, the purchase of Camp
Kulaqua was an answered prayer. God’s blessing has been evident all around. Our
camp has grown into the largest camp operation in the Seventh-day Adventist world
and is one of the favorite destinations for Florida Conference churches and
Christian groups of different denominations, schools and field trips,
universities, and community programs.
Our desire is to provide a
place where people can come together, enjoy the outdoors, and connect with God the
Creator in a much deeper and personal way.
For our 70th
anniversary, we want to rededicate camp to the service of God and to draw
people closer to Jesus.
“The Crossing” is a gathering
place that will be built in commemoration of our 70th anniversary
and located between the king chapel and cafeteria. This outdoor gathering place
will be in the shape of a cross, and it will have three individual seating
areas with fire pits and arbors. An area with engraved bricks will be at the
center of “The Crossing.” Names of Camp Kulaqua supporters, former campers,
former staff members, Churches, Pathfinder Clubs, Universities, and organizations
that support the mission of the camp.
Do you want to be part of the
celebration and rededication to camp ministry?
You can be part of history by showing
your love for Kulaqua by purchasing a personalized engraved brick or paver in
“The Crossing”
