"We have always held to the hope, the belief, the conviction that there is a better life, a better world, beyond the horizon."
-Franklin D. Roosevelt
The journey from poverty to prosperity, from homelessness to homeowner, can be long and winding for many in the Ozarks. A job loss, a health care crisis, or a traumatic life event can begin a downward spiral that leads to suffering and despair. Although our region is rich in resources with teams of agencies and organizations ready to help, many residents in need have trouble navigating the complex system of care. But a solution is in sight!
In Fall 2020, Community Partnership of the
Ozarks will team up with over 20 agencies to launch our newest initiative: the
O’Reilly Center for Hope, a one-stop service center
for affordable housing and financial prosperity. Through
generous financial contributions from The City of Springfield and the O’Reilly
Family, the former Springfield Public Schools’ Pepperdine Elementary School
building will be transformed into a bustling center where hope is
housed.
The historic Pepperdine building has a
neighborhood hub for nearly 100 years. We are proud to continue this legacy
through the renovation and rehabilitation of this beautiful building that will
bring area providers together to offer direct service to Springfield residents.
You can be an important part of the journey by
sponsoring a paver on our Pathway to Prosperity. We have three sizes to
choose from and each paver is created by you! The paver you create is a
beautiful way to celebrate your family, commemorate a loved one or even share
your favorite quote for inspiration.
Please join us as we
pave the way to help and hope for our neighbors in need at The O’Reilly Center
for Hope.
