We are the Affiliated House Corporation
(AHC) Board for the Delta Theta Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority at Cal Poly,
San Luis Obispo. Our primary mission is to lovingly maintain and improve
our treasured Pink Palace- the heart of our sorority. Built in 1865
by the Booker Family, later owned by Dr Edison French, and purchased by the
sorority in 1979 through the generous help of alumna advisors
Jean Ferrini and Rosemary Talley, the Pink Palace has been a cornerstone of sisterhood
for generations.
Over the years, the AHC has proudly
undertaken numerous improvements, including replacing the roof, repairing
the foundation, replumbing and rewiring the entire house, remodeling the
kitchen and all 4 bathrooms, removing the invasive pepper trees on Higuera
Street, and replacing the windows, siding, and the driveway.
Currently, we are working on remodeling the study room/laundry room.
We are preparing for one of our most
ambitious projects yet: landscaping the front and back yards and renovating the
pool. This will require considerable time, planning, and
resources. We would love for our alumnae, active members, and their
families to be a part of this project! You can help financially by making
a donation or purchasing a personalized brick to be used in the yard
remodel. Your support builds our legacy one brick at a time. We are so
grateful for you!
