This
spring, Fort Caspar Academy marks a major milestone: 30 years of
shaping young minds and strengthening the community through a commitment to
academic excellence and character development.
Founded with a
clear and purposeful vision, the school has remained grounded in its
mission: to train the intellect and the character of the student; to
teach and prepare the student academically, not only for college but also for a
lifetime of learning; to provide a structured environment that enhances the
learning process; and to promote parental involvement. Over the past
three decades, that mission has guided every classroom, every lesson, and every
student success story.
A key figure in
the school’s history is Norm Carrell, whose leadership and dedication
helped shape the culture and direction of the academy. His influence is still
felt today in the school’s strong emphasis on discipline, academic rigor, and
community values.
Located
in Casper, Fort Caspar Academy has built a reputation as a place where
students are not only challenged academically but also encouraged to grow as
individuals. The school’s structured environment supports focused learning,
while its commitment to parental involvement fosters a strong partnership
between families and educators.
To celebrate
this 30-year legacy, the academy is hosting a special anniversary event on
April 24, 2026. Alumni, current families, and community members are invited to
gather for an evening of food trucks, carnival games, and shared memories. The
event reflects the school’s vibrant spirit and its ongoing connection to
generations of students and families.
As Fort Caspar
Academy looks to the future, it remains steadfast in its mission—continuing to
prepare students not just for the next grade or college, but for a lifetime of
curiosity, responsibility, and achievement.
