Buy a Brick and Help Complete this Community Park!
Engraved bricks or blocks can memorialize family members or beloved pets, an achievement, or special message. Businesses can invest in blocks or bricks as a form of advertisement.
These bricks and blocks will be used to create a highly visible area that will enhance the park.
There are 3 different sizes with an extensive selection of clip art to choose from. You are welcome to use your own clip art or logo.
You also have the option to get a replica tile as a keepsake for your home or office for an additional $25.
The quest for a fenced community dog park began in 2011 with a group of community members that incorporated as a non-profit organization to become Friends of Festival Country K9s and culminated with Enoch City donating 3 acres in 2017. We had a groundbreaking ceremony on May 19, 2018 and the community came out to join Enoch’s Mayor, Police Department, Animal Control, and many Enoch City employees to celebrate this event.
Helping dogs and people of all ages and abilities
Because
dog parks are multi-generational, serving teenagers to senior citizens, the
park is as much for the people as it is their dogs. It is a location where
people with similar interests can socialize, share information and exercise
their pets. It is well known that tired dogs are good dogs and are less likely
to bark incessantly, dig, chew and exhibit other undesirable traits.
After lots of fundraising and donations, FFCK9s was able to install 6 foot chain link fencing with double gated “door dasher” entries for separate large dog and small dog areas. Local companies are donating goods and services thus we are slowly making progress but still need funds to purchase sod, trees, sprinkler systems, shade areas and more.
Right now the park is nothing
more than fenced weeds, dirt and sagebrush. The community has come together to form work parties to clear the
noxious and dangerous weeds to make this space a place for everyone to enjoy…and
many dogs are already enjoying it!
FFCK9s has received a $25,000
Grant from PetSafe to help us complete the park but we still have a long way to
go. Can you help us by buying a brick?
