Good Shepherd Lutheran Church

We are a rural Lutheran Church congregation located in Southeast North Dakota that is over 100 years old. Until recently, our youth used the church basement for their classrooms and youth activities. Over the years, our basement deteriorated and in its present condition is no longer safe.  Through donations, we started building a small addition with new classrooms for a youth learning and activity center.  

We want to keep our youth invested in the church and grow our congregation.   Rural churches and congregations in the upper Mid-west are steadily declining.  We do not want our church and congregation to suffer the fate of others in the area.  Through this project and investment in our youth, we will strive to keep our congregation flourishing for another 100 years.  Our hope is for our children to carry on the Lutheran traditions and worship God in the church built by their parents and grandparents.
