Gulf Coast Cross Project

We plan to break ground on Phase 1 of the Gulf Coast Cross Park which is the Welcome Center and parking lot by the early summer of 2014. 

The Gulf Coast Cross Park will have these other features.

- There will be granite monuments with powerful scripture laser etched on them throughout the grounds that can be corporately sponsored

- There will be “prayer station” reminding us to pray for the things in our lives that we sometimes forget to pray about.

- There will be an outdoor covered stage called the 2C714 Outdoor Stage with seating for 50 – 100 people but also with a huge lawn for people to bring lawn chairs/blankets.

- There will be a God centered gift shop (The Welcome Center) that will help finance and sustain the expenses for the maintenance of the Giant Cross.

1. It is a monument to God that honors God in a glorious way.

2. Nondenominational & Totally Ecumenical. If you love God and worship Jesus, then you are qualified to give to this project.

3. Unites the Body of Christ in a very big way.

4. God would do daily unseen miracles through people when they see this Giant Cross and are drawn to Christ.

5. Baldwin Co. would become known as a place in AL with one of the tallest crosses in the world.

6. The Giant Cross would become one of the area's most popular destinations year after year.

7. 10's of 1000's would see and be affected by the Giant Cross and what it represents EVERYDAY!

8. There will be events throughout the year including arts and music festivals that are Christ Centered.
