We are happy to announce the construction of an Honor Patio within Hardscrabble, a place where residents can purchase engraved bricks in honor, celebration, or memory of those beloved Hardscrabble residents, past and present, who have enriched their lives and the Hardscrabble Community. This project upgrades and improves the current space and elements near the Little Library, and meets the inspired requests of many neighbors to memorialize past residents.
The construction phase of the patio is complete. The funds generated by the sale of the engraved bricks will finance the second phase, where we add planters and plantings, providing a quiet, semi-private space to enjoy the pond, read a book from the Little Library, or just connect with nature.
Below is the order form. The engraved bricks sell for $100 each. Please note there is space on the order form for additional donations to this project, if you are so inclined. Pay via check to Hardscrabble HOA, and send those checks to Debbi Reach at 1116E Hardscrabble Drive.
