Greenhouse
Engraved Brick Campaign
Our greenhouse
is a 14’ x 30’ specialized structure providing a controlled environment for
effectively growing all kinds of plants throughout the year. It will extend our
growing season, help mitigate pests, and in the future allow the Master
Gardeners of Spokane County a place to propagate, grow, nurture, and protect a
wide variety of vegetables, herbs, natives, and perennials.
The Engraved
Brick Campaign is a new sponsorship opportunity for Master Gardeners, Friends
of the Foundation, and the community to help us push on with building up and enhancing
the MG Greenhouse surroundings.
Donations to
this worthy cause allows the MG Program and the Foundation to extend the
support for the many educational opportunities Master Gardeners in Spokane
County advocate and champion. We are currently introducing Native and Prairie
Demonstration Gardens at the Extension Center and the Quarry while continuing
to build and upgrade our existing demonstration gardens. These, along with
community outreach at the Plant Clinic and Master Gardener Information Booths
provide Spokane County not only vital gardening knowledge but factual research-based
data.
The Greenhouse
Committee and the Master Gardener Foundation encourage you to join us in
donating an engraved brick or more.
The cost of a 4”x8”
brick is $50. You may place names, dates, quotes, logos, on the brick.
Customize it how you want. Many clip art images are loaded into the database
of Polar Engraving, our choice of engravers. If you want one that isn't featured,
you can upload a high-resolution image to use for your brick.
As you are
creating your brick on Polar Engraving’s website, you’ll be able to see what it
will look like when it’s finished.
All bricks will
be placed in front of the Master Gardener Greenhouse as well as a section on
the north side of the greenhouse at the Quarry in perpetuity. The northside
location is 10’x20’ and sits between the current greenhouse and the soon to be
built second greenhouse.
