Overview
New Life United Methodist Church is
excited to announce the development of the Serenity Garden Prayer Area
Extension and Walkway—a sacred space designed to nurture prayer,
reflection, remembrance, and connection with God’s creation.
This new extension will create a
seamless pathway between the existing Serenity Community Garden and the
surrounding church grounds, offering a peaceful environment for community
members, visitors, and passersby. The enhanced prayer and memorial area will
include dedicated seating and contemplative spaces that deepen the Serenity
Garden experience.
This project continues our long‑term
vision for Creation Care at New Life UMC:
- To cultivate spaces that draw people closer to Creation
and the Creator
- To offer a spiritual resource for the community
- To honor loved ones and celebrate the legacy of faith
within our church family
Honor
or Remember a Loved One
As part of this initiative,
individuals and families may purchase a memorial brick to be placed
within the Serenity Garden. Bricks may be dedicated:
- In memory of a family member
- In honor of a loved one
- As a lasting tribute to someone who has shaped your
faith journey
Each engraved brick becomes a
permanent part of the Serenity Garden, symbolizing love, legacy, and the shared
commitment of our community to spiritual growth and stewardship.
