New Vision Charter School

New Vision Charter School is growing and we need your support!  Based upon the outstanding academic achievement and growth of our students, Thompson School District has recognized New Vision as a “School of Distinction.”  NVCS has been highly recognized by parents and families in the Loveland community as an excellent school of choice and consistently has a waitlist. In order to accommodate our growing demands, a new, larger building is under construction and will be ready for move-in August, 2019.

NVCS PTO is tasked with the exciting opportunity to design and implement a playground that is innovative, accessible to every student, inspires movement and play and encourages teamwork. Multiple playground designs were presented to students, staff and families and in a nearly unanimous vote by students, a Ninja Warrior obstacle course design was selected.  The Ninja Warrior themed playground is unique because it develops student's endurance through continuous play, strength by use of overhead/vertical climbers, and flexibility with tunnels, bridges and bars while promoting increased creativity and decreased behavioral issues. Play is a huge factor in healthy brain development, and it encourages physical, cognitive and emotional growth.  The unique nature of this playground also allows us incorporate it into our physical education curriculum!

Our chosen vendor, GoPlay, Inc., has estimated an overall cost of $54,000.00.  As a charter school, New Vision relies heavily on parent and community support.  Multiple fundraisers this year have raised nearly $24,000. However, we still have a long way to go!
