Hello from Ocoee Church of God,
Thank you so much for
considering our one-time fundraiser for our Capital Campaign project! We value
your support.
The Ocoee Church of God began
in 1976 under the leadership of Pastor Robert “Bob” Whitmire and his wife,
Sister Jean Whitmire. After being a full-time COG evangelist, God called him
into the pastoral ministry. Thus, the Ocoee Church of God was set in order. As
the church grew in both number and stature, so did the vision. A part of this
vision was that Ocoee Church of God would be a central location in not only
Ocoee, but surrounding communities. In order to fulfill this vision, this would
include multiple buildings and outlets. One way was by building a gym and
fellowship hall.

After Pastor Bob’s death in
2001, the original vision was unfortunately lost from view. Yet, God had given
and ordained this vision. In 2020, Pastors Mike and Sandy Whitmire returned to
Ocoee to pastor this church. They were pastoring a thriving church in
Cleveland, Tennessee named All Nations Church of God which amalgamated. Pastor
Mike stood behind and understood the vision that the Lord had given his father,
Robert Whitmire. Now, the Holy Spirit had given him charge of the vision that
was given to his dad. He is completing the work that his father started.
Our Capital Campaign is
serving to aid the fulfillment of this vision. The Capital Campaign was
implemented in 2023 by Pastor Mike to begin building a church gym. There has
been impressive progress since its inception. However, we need your help! Our
church is selling Donor Bricks that will be placed outside of our church gym in
the form of a memorial wall.
Again, thank you so much for
your time and consideration for making this vision a reality! Please be part of
contributing to this heritage. The possibilities are endless in designing your
very own creation that will be a portion of this heritage.
Grace and Peace,
