The Stronghurst Booster Club would like to offer you the chance to become a part of an exciting new attraction to our area.
THE DR. ROBERT POGUE MEMORIAL SPRAY PARK.
A spray park is a zero-depth play area where water sprays from structures of ground nozzles. The Spray Park not only will provide cooling relief from our hot summers, but encourages exercise through fun activity. Toddlers through adults will enjoy the benefits of this oasis nestled in the Stronghurst Village Park. It will be free to the public so that all may enjoy.
To help reach our goal of a $130,000 dollars we will
be constructing a commemorative brick sidewalk leading to our Spray Park. Each brick will
represent your personal participation. The bricks will be lazer engraved with the
participants message on it. Bricks can be customized to include images such as company
logos, emblems and clip art. The bricks will come in three sizes 4"x8", 8"x8", 12"x12" and
a special brick array containing nine 8"x8" bricks.
Showing your support through brick engraving is a
wonderful way to honor, commemorate, congratulate, or show your undying passion for a loved
one, an event, a sport or simply an unforgettable time in your life. Inscribing a brick
for someone is a profound means by which to remember an individual who is greatly missed,
announce a birth, wedding or send a birthday wish.
Our great Village and surrounding area has been home
to many wonderful people, events, businesses, clubs, churches and organizations. This endeavor
will give us the opportunity to honor them forever. Remember each brick alone is just a
brick, but hundreds of bricks side by side become a sidewalk.
The
color of your brick will be randomly selected.
