K9 Gunner Memorial Dog Park is
the First Dog Park in Prince William County
funded by donations from
citizens and businesses.
The park was built by a group of
volunteers now respectfully known as PWC Dogs.
We partnered with the
Prince William County Department of Parks & Recs., and Prince William
County Parks Foundation to establish a fenced-in, off-leash dog park where
well-behaved canine citizens can exercise in a clean, safe
environment.
PWC Parks & Recs. leases the land from LRPRA as a park
and
maintains the area outside the fenced area.
The Dog Park area itself is
improved and kept up by the funds
raised by the volunteers of PWC
Dogs.
