Let's build a playground together...brick by brick.
Reid’s Journey is a charity created in memory of our son Reid Seals with a mission to help children and families in need. Reid was diagnosed in utero with trisomy 18, which is the presence of a 3^rd 18^th chromosome. The effects are devastating...most do not make it to full term and the one’s that do typically live a very short time. Reid lived 11 days. His heart simply could not go on.

Heartbroken, we decided to keep his memory alive and to help others in Reid’s name. His life was documented on the Facebook page Reid’s Journey and has impacted an untold number of people. Some of our projects for Reid’s Journey include: feeding 15 families at Thanksgiving, help struggling families with assistance with utilities or food, bless at least 5 (and hopefully more) children with their first bicycle each Christmas; pay the sports registration fee for children whose families cannot afford the cost; provide school supplies for children in need. Our newest project is to raise money to build a playground in Hope Mills Municipal Park. The bricks will create a walkway/patio connected to the playground.
