Every day at Ridge Road School, there are children in different grades and classes who are unable to play alongside their friends at recess due to the limited accessibility of our current playground.
This year the Ridge Road PTA, along with our First Selectman, Mike Freda and the town of North Haven, is raising funds to build a new inclusive and accessible playground for children of all ages, sizes, physical and intellectual abilities. An inclusive and accessible playground means ALL children may play and be engaged, active, and safe in that space together. This new playground will meet ADA requirements and will be used by all children at Ridge Road, and in the North Haven community.
