Donate to Rise and Shine Initiative Brick Fundraising Campaign

“The Rise & Shine Initiative” is a collaboration of local agencies that help support veteran’s issues.

The “Hero’s Walk” is our way to say THANK YOU and honor anyone that is a veteran or a hero to a veteran’s family.
Your donation of a brick helps offset the rising costs of assisting a veteran young or old, disabled or not in obtaining the resources and benefits they have earned.

The Rise and Shine Initiative offers any veteran help by assisting them in navigating through the US Department of Veteran Affairs comprehensive computer applications requirements which often lead to frustration and non-completion.

The Initiative also connects them to James A. Pritchett Memorial Chapter 85 which offers any veteran the comradery to help them process any health, social or mental difficulties that they are experiencing.

The Rise and Shine Initiative also offers veteran’s and military families access to resources in counseling, employment, housing and home ownership, and a chance to meet and talk once a week on Thursdays in Asbury Park. This “Cornerstone of Community Change” is the way the consortium offers a hand-up instead of a handout.

Faith Based Initiative Group, Inc. (FBIG, Inc.) is the non-profit 501 ( c )3 supportive group for the consortium.
