Save A Dog Rescue was established in 2013 and is a 501c3 public charity organization that is dedicated to the rescue of Death Row dogs at Animal Controls and shelters. In the spring of 2018, we will be building “Hanna’s House”. An adoption center and temporary refuge for shelter dogs until we find a foster home. The more dogs we can put in foster homes…the more dogs we can save. This will enable us to rescue before a foster home is found when a dog has been given a deadline of days or hours to live.
Hanna’s House is dedicated and named after “Hanna” a pit bull we rescued in 2016 and who died in June of 2017. She was only 2 years old when she died. Her owner surrendered her to the high kill shelter when she became ill. She had cancer and was heartworm positive. We brought her into our rescue, and Hanna fought so hard to live. She endured two surgeries and heartworm treatment while she was with us. Hanna remained happy and strong until the end. She touched our hearts deeply and Hanna’s House is the perfect way to honor her memory.
Your brick purchase will help build a walkway that leads to Hanna’s House and a better quality of life for the animals that are currently in a shelter. Saving one life, one brick at a time. Honoring your pet, friend or family member with a commemorative brick is a wonderful reminder of lives shared and cherished. Use the brick to celebrate a special event, birthday, anniversary or a memory.
The purchased bricks will be used to create a walkway that will enhance the entryway into the building. It will be located in the grassy area in front of the building. We have two different sizes of bricks to choose from and you can have your bricks engraved with special messages. Clip Art is also available to be engraved on the brick if you choose to include it, and replica bricks are available for you to display at your home or office. Once a large enough number of bricks are ordered and ready, we will construct the path for all to see and enjoy.
Memorialize your beloved pets and other family members or commemorate family and pet milestones with an engraved brick.
