Why Support the Walkway?
The Sons of Italy in America is a national organization of men and women who represent millions of Americans of Italian heritage, dedicated to promoting and preserving our culture, our traditions, our language, as well as the legacy of our ancestors and our contributions to the United States and the world. Lodge #902 is a local lodge since 1919; relocated to Methuen from it’s original Lawrence, MA location.
What is the Preserving Our Heritage Project?
It is a fundraiser in support of The Methuen Sons of Italy to create a Heritage Walkway in front of our Lodge
• You can add your family name, or remember a special loved one by purchasing a brick (sizes detailed within) and receiving a brick engraved with your personal notation to be placed within the walkway.
• Bricks come in three different sizes, and benches along the walkway are also available.
Buying a brick
• Is tax deductible as a charitable contribution to a 501.c.3 non-profit organization
• Makes a terrific birthday, anniversary, holiday or other gift
• Provides you with a chance to remember a loved one or family as part of the SOI walkway for eternity!
How You Can Participate
You can be a part of the SOI Heritage Walkway in many ways:
1. Buy a 4" x 8” brick, and personalize 3 lines with up to 20 spaces per line or Add a clip art and personalize 3 lines with up to 15 spaces per line Please note the Sons of Italy logo (Sons01 cannot be use on the 4X8 brick size) all other clip art are available.
2. Buy a 8" x 8” brick, and personalize 6 lines with up to 20 spaces per line (or with the Sons of Italy logo with up to 4 lines of text and 20 spaces per line) or you can use any other clip art listed and use up to 5 lines 20 spaces per line.
3. Buy a 12" x 12” brick, and personalize 8 lines with up to 20 spaces per line (or with the Sons of Italy logo – up to 20 spaces per line for 6 lines ) or you can use any other clip art listed and use 7 lines 20 spaces per line.
4. Get a 4” x 4” replica tile, for only $25 additional. Great for a keepsake or gift idea and you can order as many as you want!
5. Speak to us about a memorial bench -LIMITED QUANTITIES AVAILABLE!
