The Devin and Conner
Dewald Memorial Fund was established in honor of twins Devin and Conner Dewald,
who tragically lost their lives to drowning in 2005. Founded with the mission
of transforming loss into purpose, the Fund is dedicated to reducing childhood
drowning through water safety education, community advocacy, and access to
proven survival swim instruction. Through scholarship programs and outreach
initiatives, the Fund strives to ensure that every child has the opportunity to
receive lifesaving water safety training, regardless of financial
circumstances.
Proceeds from this
commemorative brick campaign directly support scholarships for children to
participate in survival swim lessons at Squiddles Survival Swim School. Each
engraved brick serves as a lasting tribute to a loved one, a celebration of
family, or a commemoration of a special memory, while simultaneously helping
provide children with the skills, confidence, and self-rescue abilities needed
to be safer around water. Together, these personalized bricks will create a
meaningful legacy of remembrance, hope, and drowning prevention that will
benefit families and future generations for years to come.
