Valerie’s House Mission and Vision
The mission
of Valerie’s House is to help children and families work through the loss of a
loved one together and go on to live fulfilling lives. Our
vision is that No Child Will Grieve Alone.
A Haven for Healing
Valerie’s House provides a nurturing
space where children connect with others their age experiencing loss and provide tools to heal and thrive after experiencing the death
of someone they love.
Here, children discover that loss
doesn’t have to limit their dreams.
Nestled in the heart of East Hill
Pensacola, the Chadbourne Foundation Home serves as the headquarters for the
Pensacola Chapter of Valerie’s House. Built in 1904, this historic house offers
a sanctuary for grieving children throughout Northwest Florida providing
support and solace to those in need.
A Backyard Transformed
Thanks to the generous support of
the Pensacola Leadership Class of 2024, our backyard has been transformed into
a healing oasis. To complete this healing space, we are creating a patio
featuring customized pavers, offering a unique opportunity to honor your loved
ones with a personalized stone. Each engraved paver, dedicated ‘in honor of’ or
‘in memory of’ someone special, helps support grieving families and children in
our community.
