Waterford
Skate Spot
Please help us build a Skate Park for
the Community of Waterford.
Our children need a safe place where they can play.
This idea was
launched by 9 year old Ryan Hay.
He wrote a letter to the Waterford Council on May 23rd, 2012.
He believes it is important to have it because of the following reasons:
1. Skateboarding
can disturb people. Having a special place would be better.
2. Other skate
parks are far away. You have to drive a long way to get there.
3. Some kids like
to skate more than play in grassy fields.
4. Often kids
skateboard in the streets, which can be dangerous because of traffic.
5. When kids want
to have skateboard parties, they have to leave Waterford.
